For Floribunda and all others

Had to work at my oil tank yesterday, whilst awaiting mortar to set I took some shots of the unnamed roses around the tank.

back to work and this little guy came to inspect my work, quick grab shot before he hopped away into the bushes.

Yes Ed, if Lyn can't ID it then it's undoubtedly a mutation of sorts or an entirely new species.

Nevertheless, I am not one to worry about names as I've stated elsewhere - I just enjoy looking at nameless things, just as I might appreciate the beauty of a passing woman in the street to whom a smile and polite "G'day" could be the start of a beautiful friendship. :D

Oh Boy! What pressure you place on one!:D
Rose expert I am not, just an enthusiast, and there are thousands of roses. Identifications are a headache and you need a lot of information to get it correct.
Rambler, bush, climber, modern, old, it goes on and on.
Lovely photos Ed, I am particularly taken with No 2, a very nice single. If you think it is a wild rose, I may be able to ID it better.
No 4 looks like a Hybrid Tea.
And No 5 is definitely ....A Frog. :D

No pressure as 'A rose by any other name etc............' I like them because of colour and scent names are not important to me. Thanks for looking and your comment.
