Some recent infrared
Hello folks. I haven't actually shared anything here in an age, for which apologies, but Life, other plans, you know the old one.
Anyway, I just had my Pen-F (which was by now my 'backup' camera) converted for infrared, and have been testing it out, finding the best settings and whatnot. This past weekend was perfect IR weather, and I was visiting family in Lincolnshire, so the camera had a good outing. It's been converted to 830nm, for B&W only, as I've been gradually gravitating to pure monochrome IR in the last couple of years, rather than messing with false colours. Here are a few sample shots, if I can remember how to link out to Flickr.... Very nice Margaret. Belton Hall looks great, a fine building. I read somewhere where someone had converted a Pen (older model) to infrared following a youtube instruction video. I really like your shots and the possibilities with such a camera.

Re: Some recent infrared
The IR "colour" rendition produces some nice unusual effects. Very nice.

Re: Some recent infrared
Lovely, Margaret. Good to see you back.
I remember enjoying your false colour IRs before, but these monos are excellent. |
