12-100 F4 lens
 

I hope to retire soon and will be putting the house on the market in the new year, unfortunately the downsizing not only is for the house, it also means my camera kit which will be appearing here bit by bit over the next hour or two.

Now being listed on Ebay due tothe need to sell quickly, sorry but having to move quicker then planned.

Its on Ebay currently @£422 but had a buy now at 841 which is the average sale price on Ebay for the lens ( used). After two recent spells in hospital and a change of circumstances I am trying to realise the value as soon as poss, sorry about that.

£841....crazy......IMVHO.

They are only £899 new, from reputable dealers.

I agree it is an optimistic valuation. I suggest the OP looks on MPB where they are selling for a lot less and they come with a warranty from MPB.

I also agree but they are limited in numbers on Ebay and thats the price they are selling for second hand, I was very surprised and I doubt I will get that tbh...

I respect your right to seek the best price you can get but two of the three second hand ones with a buy it now price on the Bay are in the £700's and one that sold recently by auction also went for the late £700's.

When you take off 13.4% fees you will lose over £100 from the sale price giving you a probable net return in the late £600's.

I am sorry but your price is far too high for me.

I had a deal from Ebay with max selling fee of a £1 :) so not too bad. I will be sorry to see the gear go but we have more important issues and life is getting shorter :(

I took advantage of a combined SRS/Oly deal earlier this year and got mine for £820. It's one of the best Oly lenses if you can get it at a price you are happy with.

There are quite a few discounts on this lens at the moment. Before the discounts I think your initial pricing wasn't far out for a mint uk copy. Unfortunately the current discounts are competing with you. I paid £700 for mine second hand in mint condition which i felt was a good deal. I've certainly made good use of it. Good luck with your sale.
