Actuation Expectancy

Hi All,

I was recently asked how many actuations my currently for sale E520 had, and through this forum I managed to establish how to find out the information, I confirmed to the prospective buyer that the actuations were 16k on my body.( too many for the interested party)

I came across this link, which might assist to confirm what the expectancy of an oly shutter could be.

I am wondering if sometimes too much emphasis is put on the amount of actuations a used body has.

You know what they say about 'there are lies, damned lies and statistics'. I think edmundo who has recorded 8.3 million actuations might just have hit the wrong multiplier. That would work out at over 6,000 actuations every day since the launch of the E-520 in May 2008:D:D
