Has any body got any views on a small table top tripod? it has to be
strong enough to take a DSLR with a 50-200 lens.
It will be used for ground level and macro photography.
Be able to extend the height as required - Gorilla pod does not do this.
Be small enough to fit into a camera bag.

Yup, I am using the Velbon Ultra Maxi Mini (http://www.velbon.co.uk/newvelbon/pages/ultramaximini.html) (what's in a name...:D )

Found it after an extensive search for a table-top tripoid, and I am using is for low-ground and table top 360 panorama's

It is sturdy enough to hold my E-3 + 8mm Zuiko as well as the Nodal Ninja 5, together weighting more kilograms than your setup.

Hi

I find the Trek Tech T Pod does a fantastic job its built like a tank and supports my E3 with various lenses also doubles as a mini light stand for the 50R in fact I have two and can highly recommend it. It goes down to 2 inches. Shop around price 30-35 (amazon uk)
