Not sure if this shouldn't be in the lens section but anyway......

If you've ever been troubled by trying to remove a lens cap while the hood is fitted one of these might be worth considering. An OP Tech 'Hood-Hat', basically a neoprene hood that fits over the lens hood. I got one for my 50-200mm and think it's a good idea.

That looks pretty useful :) Especially for the giant hood on the 50-200. I like the internal release on the 12-60 lens cap, it should be on all of them! Especially the 50mm macro as even though it is a comparable short lens the cap is impossible to get on and off with the hood on.

I actually replaced all the side pinch caps with Nikon style center pinch ones off ebay but the hood on the 50-200 was too long.
