Would someone please tell me if the Olympus OM dedicated flashgun by Miranda can be used with a e 410 and is it any good

It won't work as a dedicated unit (with TTL metering, etc.). There is a small risk that the triggering voltage could damage your E-410.

I certainly would not reccomend it unless you actually know the hot shoe trigger voltage of it.

Max hot shoe trigger voltage on the E-400 is about 10volts, old miranda flash units vary from 6.5 to 240 volts.

Even if it works there is always the chance that continued use could fry the electronics.

My advise go for a dedicated flash gun, oly or third party.
