Hi everyone!

I've got a quick question which I need answering quickly. Does anybody know if the Olympus 50-200mm SWD is compatible with the E-620? I know it works on the E-30 ok.

Many thanks in advance

That combination should work extremely well

Yes it will work, there will be no compatibility issues at all and you will find the 50-200mm lens works exceptionally well with the E-620.

Forgive me, it is a bit of an odd question....
All 4/3rds lenses fit all E bodies and are compatible to all E bodies.

The only problem one can run into is that a part of the AF will not work with some lenses, but than again all bodies and lenses can be used with AF.

If you are refering to Imager AF: yes it gives a problem now that will be solved in the future I hope.
In case of when you have selected Image AF with the 50-200 on a tripod using live-view the camera will select the regular AF.
The 50-200 is not exactly a PS lens though.
Having the camera and 50-200mm close to the body will get you the best stability for shooting.
