Calm down! Calm down!!
Sometime back Ian posted a thread that was basically a wish list that we would like to see Olympus moving in... myself and a few others suggested a basic camera... so hence the title...
Most of the time I want a high quality image grabber so all the fancy stuff is totally superfluous... yes I am still after the digital OM:cool:
So the E620 stripped down to the E600...no art filters or scene modes just
PASM and auto
the metering modes with AEL
single point of focus with AFL
do I need much more?

Hi Chris -

I think you have it all there.

I am with you, Chris.

Price-wise: those fancy filters cost allmost nothing, those scene programs are a couple of lines software that are allready in use (both of them are).
Having a Macro setting is usefull......

Savings on the E620: 0,01 or less..........................
