I tried Currys, Dixons and PC World to find the 40-150 Zuiko Lens at the price of 80.00 on the net, all said sold out.*sob everyone else was more expensive even on Ebay and why buy second hand when you can purchase new for a reasonable price.... so popped into my local Currys and they only had one left and no p/p *smash.
If anyone is looking for that lens do not be put off! try local shops, you maybe lucky

I purchased the 40 to 150mm lens for my E 420 for 80.00 from Currys, and although its the Mk 1 version i find it to be a good lens for the price you pay.

If you manage to get one you wont go far wrong.

The mk 1 40-150 is a fine sharp lens - I keep mine in my back-up set and would be quite happy to use it. The only complaint I have is that the end of the lens rotates and your cokin filters fall out.

So far i have not put any filters on the front, i have never had reason to use them, but thanks very much for the tip.
But what i heard is that the Mk1 is better than the Mk2, anyhow i am satisfied with it, as i said for what you pay for one presently its money well spent.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but i can recommend this lens to any budding photographer.

Best regards Paul

I agree, the 40-150mm is a very good zoom lens. It's my intermediate lens at the moment. When my 70-300mm is to big and my 14-42mm to small.;)
