I have an E-3 and have just bought an FL-50R. I want to get a basic flash bracket that will allow me to fit the flash at the same level as the camera base. I have seen a cheap Hama on some online stores and there are basic ones in EBay.
Does anyone have something like this and if you have are there any that come recommended?

Not got, but if looking I would check out the Speed Graphc site they always have a good range of bits and pieces

Worth requesting their catalogue easier to look through than the web

I had a cheap folding one, Jessops I think, and it was very wobbly, inadequate for even the FL-36. I do recommend trying before buying.

I've used an old OM Power Bounce Grip II very successfully with the FL36 and FL50. Mine was a hang over from OM days, but I think they can be picked up 2nd hand quite cheaply. Very solid. Probably quite useful in hand-to-hand combat.

Doesn't permit the flash to be mounted quite at the same level as the camera base, although the height is adjustable.
