AUSTRALIA VOTES
Volunteers hand out how-to-vote flyers outside one of a number of pre-polling stations in my electorate of INDI.
This allows us Australians to cast our vote prior to Election Day, next Saturday, on May 18. All very orderly you see. *yes

Yep, I goofed but I like the mood - voting ends next Saturday when the sausauges start sizzling!

Set up in front of every polling booth on Election Day throughout Australia we have a "Traditional Sausage Sizzle" (https://www.electionsausagesizzle.com.au/)
where voters, after casting their vote, can mingle and talk sport; anything but politics!. Voting is compulsory in Australia, it's a civic duty.

Helen Haines (https://voicesforindi.com/candidate-identification-process/more-about-helen-haines/), Independent candidate for the seat of Indi (my electorate), turns on a charming smile for the photographer, but failed to get his vote!
