Forgive me, but I have I missed something ?

My basic question is - this is techincally interesting, but what practical use is this at this point?:confused:

The camera has been superceded for quite some time now so its not going to be a decider for new purchases. People who have the camera and like it will be very happy, and those who don't will probably have moved on by now.

Regards
Andy

I think it's interesting from a comparative point of view. They are building a database that will eventually serve as a record of the progress of digital camera development over the years.

Of course, this is from the same company that's never bothered to add Olympus to its list of supported marques for its main product... apart from a "bridge" camera, that is.

Forgive me for thinking their view may just be a little biased, or, in fact, irrelevant.
