Not a problem really unless you are a Muppet like me. Just a warning to be careful if you ask them to update your firmware. I did and forgot that it was likely to reset all my settings!!! so I've just taken some of the worst shots ever with my new lens! it was a bit of a shock until I realised what I'd done :o phew.

Congrats on the New Lens Phill. Once you have your settings re-instated, lets see some......*chr

I keep my firmware up to date so fingers crossed they won't do anything. As an aside, do they go through the regular download or flash from an SD card? I believe that this IS possible with Olympus cameras as there is a website that hosts the zips.

They ask if you want updating, and warn that all settings are wiped if you do. I asked both bodies to be left, and they were.

I was asked that too yesterday. As I haven't updated to the latest FW I went for it. Didn't have many settings saved so not really bothered about that. Haven't checked that they actually did the update yet though......
There wasn't a queue on Sunday but after dropping my EM1.2 off on the Oly stand at about 10-50 when we arrived, I didn't get it back until about 3-50. One of my fellow club members dropped her EM5 off at about the same time and only collected it just before the coach pulled up to take us all back to south Wales at about 4-30. Those two technicians from Portugal were working their socks off yesterday, that's for sure!

Attended the show today, Tuesday, hoping to get my Pen F cleaned. Got to the stand at 10.24am and all slots for the day had already gone! Doh! Ah well.......got a very nice Lowepro slingbag for 20 from the Disabled Photographers used gear stand so all was well.
