View Full Version : E-3 to visit the International Space Station (ISS)

16th March 2009, 08:12 PM
No doubt many of you read the Amateur Photographer, but for those that do not, one of the news stories of the week is that the E-3 is to be taken into space for a visit to the International Space Station (ISS). It is part of the celebrations to mark the 90th anniversary of Olympus . The camera and E-system lenses are to be carried into space by Dr Koichi Wakata later this month on the Space Shuttle Discovery. The images are then to be displayed on Olympus websites and displayed at exhibitions.

Ian is it possible to get a E-system talk UK forum member a place on the trip? If so I would like to be the first to volunteer, I will even take my own kit to save you some effort!
