Yes, next Thursday on E4 we have the wedding of the year when Sheldon and Amy get married in the Big Bang Theory. I doubt we'll see another event as exciting as this in the whole year.

Oh, but wait.........

There is another very special event just a few days later..........

The FA Cup final, featuring Manchester Utd v Chelsea. What a week! :D

Even more exciting for me, though, is that on Saturday my daughter comes home from Uni for the summer, having completed her first year - I can't wait to have her back! *chr

Apparently there's a wedding in Windsor soon where the bride and bridegroom, despite being insanely rich, have invited people and told them to bring their own food and drink. Amazing!

Love is blind, so it is said and one wedding due to take place next week leaves no room for doubt.

Maybe she just likes guys with beards :D:D:D

John
It is a severe case of optic atrophy on the part of the groom that I was referring to. *shrug

As you so rightly pointed out Mark, love IS blind. If that were NOT the case, ... both you and I would probably never have had a proposal of marriage accepted :D:D:D

Regards,

John

Um,,,, are you two in a relationship now..................*chr

Janette was Marks lovely wife, who sadly passed away a little while ago.

If you look through Marks old posts on here, there is lots of info and photos.

If it's anything like our house, the TV remote control has been surgically grafted onto my wife's hand so not a hope of hiding it anywhere :)

The only option is removing the fuse in the TV plug and claiming it will have to be sorted on Monday. :D:D:D

John

Naw... the remote stays safely with me. That way we get to see the good stuff *yes*yes :D :D :D :D

In all fairness, her indoors has no interest in the 'wedding' (except to see what the dress looks like .... I know, it's a woman thing *zzz *zzz) and we do agree on what we watch so it could be a lot worse :eek:

It's a pity dear Onslo isn't walking her down the aisle, that would have really set the cat among the pigeons.
Of course it's all about keeping up appearances, farcical.

Away from the UK so watching CNN coverage of the foreplay of the grand event, surprisingly no mention that this is the second divorced american that has/is married into the German Royal Family.

At least the first divorced American's marriage lasted, which is more than can be said for most of the Royal marriages. *yes John
I heard the exchange of vows on my pillow radio on the beeb then switched chanels. *zzz
Can't get my head around it; what in hell was he thinking with.

Edit: At least it's a distraction from Brexit - an expensive one.
