I didn't know it was called Colour Popping, I thought it was Selective Colouring :o

Another little tip, that can save a bit of time.

Once you've got the layers set up you can go round the outline of what you want to have in colour and use the fill tool. It works in Gimp so I'd assume it works in Photoshop too.

You do have to tweak the edges a bit, using a small paintbrush, that's the time consuming bit.

I've been doing it as a significant % of my work for years, always called it 'hand tinting', nice to see it's got a funky new name so everyone will be doing it this season dahlink. :rolleyes:
