Does anybody use a ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 35-100mm 1:2.0?
I am thinking about buying one of these lenses and would be interested in seeing some photos and some info on it.

Saw one the other day, it looks a brute, wouldn't want to carry it far.

Hi, I have used this lens. Brian Mosley (alert bri) has brought one along to various Olympus Photo Safari Group Meets. Used it at The CLA Game Fair, for most of the afternoon. The lens is a delight to use, fast focusing and obviously very bright constant F2. I didn't find it heavy no it's not the lightest lens but it's weight didn't present a problem. That day I was carrying 2 E3 with 35-100 and 50-200. If I had the cash to spare would I buy one? Yes.

Hi,

I used one a lot last year at Womad.

There's an example here.

Its large, not cheap, but accurate, and has good separation at f2.0. Portraits are its speciality, if that's what you want it for.

The only problem with the 35-100 is that it makes lesser lenses seem broken.

I used it at the E-3 launch in London and again when Brian turned up with one at Kressing.

It is brilliant, and either it or the 14-35 is on my list of next to buy...

Bought one of these at the end of last year and it is a peach. it is on the heavy side even without the tripod collar fitted but for portrait stuff it does not get much better than this. brilliant lens
