Check out this link..

http://www.curved-light.net/software/

Its handy app that you can install on your mobile phone.

The Photographer’s Screwdriver is a tool to calculate the depth of field (dof), hyperfocal distance, angle of view (aov) and the number of frames required for creating panoramic images. The Photographer’s Screwdriver is a Java program designed to run on mobile phones. It is available to be downloaded for free.

I have a laminated card for a what I consider a common set of distances, apertures and focal lengths. Anything different and I go for a "straddle" approach.

I used Excel and the following website which was recommended a while back on this forum.

Evidently mobile technology has moved on from the last time I needed to take DoF information with me... :)
