View Full Version : Anyone tried Bibble 5 preview?

I installed the preview (another name for beta) release of Bibble 5. They say they have been working on it with a team for a year. Still horrible output of E-3 raw, they don't seem to be able to get the rendering of the greens of Dutch grass right.:confused:

Had a few images with vertical banding and horrible noise too. Those were shot at ISO 100! See image below:

Exposure adjustment changes colours in the image, looks like it works different on respective R, G and B channels (that's what the histogram indicates).

B5 has some nice features though like fully functional DAM - you can select images by used lens etc. - and the use of layers and selective editing looks promising too.

But what are these bells and whistles worth when the basic function sucks?

Hi,

Thank good I sold my boxed version of Bibble Pro 4 a while ago and switched to Lightroom 2, never regretted the step. I always loved Bibble in the past, but it used to be a nightmare performance-wise and the user interface is just horrible.
