So what were you doing on Christmas afternoon?

I was baking mince pies when I heard a familiar summertime noise outside.
Went to check it out and this is what I saw in my neighbour's garden!

He's a bit OCD about his lawns.

Good way to shake dinner down. If he tried that here on our heavy clay soil,it would take the rest of the year to clean the mower :)

Once climate change really bits, we'll all be doing more of this!

Our grass is under about 15 inches of snow. We got freezing rain last night so everything was coated with ice when we got up and the snow was to slick to walk on.

Why not - recovering from Christmas Lunch needs a bit of fresh air and exercise! A year or two back, I went out and built a new fence - all the neighbours were away, it needed doing and I felt better for it!

I've been putting up a new shed although I did have a break for Christmas day itself.
