View Full Version : HELP! Any good tutorials for the Nik Plugins?

I finally got around to downloading these, now they're all nice and free. So far, I absolutely love Silver FX, but sharpen is all a bit too much for my poor little brain (works well for me in photos where there's no sky, otherwise I still do final sharpening in Photoshop, per below).

I've registered too, but not yet started the course.

Also to be recommended is 'The photographers guide to SEP2' by Jason Odel. He also covers the other elements in the NIK suite, but my area of interest is monochrome. Books are not free, but I think there's an offer on now that the software is free.

There are some very good videos on YouTube - just enter nik software in the search box.
