As suggested by John in my Glen Affric post here's a few more shots but taken with my Sony A7Rii and various primes.

Thanks Paul, some great views of a wonderful part of Scotland. About 3 years ago I crossed the Glenfinnan viaduct on the Fort William to London sleeper, having travelled up a few days earlier on the London to Inverness sleeper and made my way across Scotland by train, bus and ferry. :)

Sounds like a good trip, the scenery is lovely around there.

Lovely shots Paul. Did you take any with the E-M1 you might want to offer up for comparison?

Hi Paul, I have looked at your images and from the em 5 Mk ii, detail and dynamic range are very similar, I might be a bit biased but I do prefer the EM5 one more but not greatly as I said very close I think.

I would say A3 size prints you would not put anything between them.

Thanks Paul. Lovely images there too! I'm pretty sure that most people would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the A7Rii and the E-M5ii images except by serious pixel peeking. Certainly at ~2000px wide on your Flickr site the E-M5ii images look stunning. I doubt even on a big print there would be much to choose either.

I'm still deciding whether to keep my A7Rii or not. I'm leaning towards the not at the moment...

Hi Paul - nothing planned immediately but I probably will do so in the near future. Any particular days that wouldn't work for you?

I'm normally in on a Monday and a Tuesday, enjoying myself for the rest of the week away from the place!

I've only done one print comparing the 2 systems and that was about A3 size and there was no noticeable difference.
I've not done any like for like comparisons between the 2 systems really, I just use them independently and any major differences will eventually show through, or not as the case may be.

I'm undecided if I'll keep both systems at the moment, it was my intention but I'll see. I think I'd keep m43 and ditch the Sony system if I decide to revert to only one system mainly because of the lenses size, particularly the size and reach of m43 telephoto lenses.

Yes I agree, for mast part the difference isn't noticeable, I'd also keep m43 over the Sony system if I decide to revert to a single system but I'll run both for a while.

Stunning scenery and excellent capture (more to do with the photographer than the camera in this instance methinks).
