Hi,

Is UK warranty on Olly camera bodies transferable, and if so does this include the 3 year extended warranties offered on such bodies as the EM5-II?

Cheers, Toby

Hi I managed to get one transferred from an em5-ii I bought from Simon Bee on here. We had all the documentation such as original purchase invoice, extended warranty and sale invoice to me. It took a little while for Olympus to sort it out, but now on MyOlympus the camera shows full extended warranties.

"Also spoke to Olympus (http://www.amazon.co.uk/b/ref=amb_link_21388165_33?ie=UTF8&node=420224031&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=069THETT61P6WXF75R4W&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=202385967&pf_rd_i=3326791) who were also very helpful, they said all i have to do is to get the seller to unregister the camera from his account then i can register it to mine and i will have the full extended warranty. So again that is good news and looks like i am covered on both counts."
Then
"Camera is now registered in my name, so i now have warranty until 4/11/2017."

Thanks for this, I knew the topic had been discussed before but I couldn't remember where ;)
