I am guessing that the very bright light gives some difficulty in using live view of viewfinders.

I think that the most appropriate response is to request that you "travel and breed".

Wanna swap?

After three months of mild but very wet weather and significant flooding we now have snow on the ground and it's raining - again. I could cope with 40C. For maybe half an hour. Phew! I hope you have good air conditioning ...

Fast track to June here, ideally :).

We're just -2 and snow here in Munich. I wear my skiing gloves on my bicycle these days. But you have to take them off to operate the camera and the touch screen.

Never mind the light, it's the melting camera & human body that's the main issue! :p

In all seriousness though, being outside in that heat should be if you really have to, but stay in air conditioned spaces otherwise. *yes

For many there is a need to take photographs, it's like being a drug addict, the desire has to be satisfied. But why with photography, I wonder.

I read somewhere that Australians are the heaviest energy users in the Word, because of air conditioning.

I don't use my evaporative A/C much. They do use a lot of water over a day so I don't use it until around 35-38c and then mainly to blow the hot air out with cooler air; that's about 1/2 an hour then turn it off. I had it on today at 3am for about 20min. . When I renovated this old timber house I insulated top and sides well.
But we are getting softer, our forefathers; and mothers didn't stop work and they didn't have a/c and some even lived in a little tin shed. Tents were cooler

As they say; it's so hot when I go from my a/c house to my a/c car, from the cool car to the a/c shops and it's nice to get back to my cool house with the a/c still set the way I want it. Too many like that these days, some even leave the car running while they go stopping  . But you can have the -2c lol

At least this is dry heat and not the more uncomfortable humid heat of the north. I'm not move back up to that any time soon although those hills and mts over to the east do look very inviting *yes

Anyway; officially it was only a cool 38.2c yesterday but you can add another red one to the screenprint, 40c next friday :(. As I type this at 10 am it's 30c; 29.9 somes better. Now if it would only stay there and RAIN

Actually, that's my sons. *yes Nothing second rate for him! He did give me an 18 year old Glenfiddich though (almost gone & now hard to find).

I actually took that photo so we could buy him something that he would like for Christmas (since he was already drinking it).

37 degrees, here in Banjul. Lots of photos, but I bought the smaller GM1 plus 35-100 along, rather than the Olympus kit.

42c yesterday but it's looking sort of better. The local average for this time of year is around 28c.

07-02 2009; What a bugga of a day
47c, wind gusting to over 60kph. I decided to do something different so I went out a local clay pan and make some photos with my new Canon 5D11. The original idea was to lay on ground with a water bottle just out of reach but the ground was far too hot for that.

While I was playing, over 300 people died in the fires down south. Yep; A real bugga of a day :(
