Took a stroll through King George Gardens yesterday.

Are you trying to derail this thread or just going off on your own line? :p

OK, I'll try not to get too steamed up over it.

Oh dear. Looks like I have been shunted into a siding. *yes

I was just trying to couple lunch with railways. :D

On a positive note, Flying Scotsman 4472 returned to mainline service this week following a major overhaul. She is still testing at present but will be ready for the excursion season.

What attracted me most was the carriage of the woman wearing the black skirt and stilettos *erm

Not exactly Nige. Studying the four lines I was wondering which route to take before stoking the old boiler, mate.

She's the one with tickets on herself and has a stately first class carriage.

She's actually a nurse who helps you get unstressed.

So far the need hasn't arisen, Steve but yes, I agree, our health service is good.

Why is it that men of our age have a one track mind? :D
Because we miss most what we no longer have, John. :D

And also I might add, is that due to infirmity we must come by the shortest route possible. :p

That's very true, Mark. I also miss going for a good long walk and climbing mountains, at the moment it is all I can do to climb the stairs!

I see a light in your window so you're burning the midnight oil again, John. It's 3:30pm here, just had to nap so I don't fall asleep at Tina's birthday dinner tonight!

I would say it's about 2:30pm here & 3:30am in the UK. :p I think I need a nanny nap this afternoon too. ;)

Thanks Ross, you just saved me from a very red face! Yesterday I wound the hands on my wristwatch forward 90mins for a photo. I would have arrived at the restaurant 5:00pm instead of 6:30pm for our table! I'm resetting my watch now.

I've got a good excuse at the moment, my hip is so painful even laying down that I need to be really tired before going to bed if I am to have any chance of sleeping. Mind you, within two hours I'm up again - thanks to my over-active bladder

What do you mean "our age"? Speak for yourself! Age has got nothing to do with it. :D

John, I had a bottom molar out 7 days ago, was in the chair for an hour, and am still taking panadol, so I can't begin to imagine how you manage that pain. I'm sure you have tried everything except the op that is yet to come.

Anyway, Tina's birthday dinner was nice tonight. Took these with the best camera, (was the one I had with me) the GalaxyS6. Tina and I had beer battered fish + salad.
Roxanne (GD) had the Scotch Fillet Steak with mushroom sauce. Tina's fiancÚ also had the steak. add to that a few drinks and there wasn't much change out of $200AU, but we didn't complain.
