My daughter Charlotte is doing a project for University and is looking for responses to a simple and fun questionnaire. All you need to do is identify the logos from the images shown. It is completely anonymous and will only take a few minutes but please don't look up the answers on the net. It is part of her market research for a branding project. A link to the questionnaire is attached below.

The more responses the better.
Many thanks in advance to all those willing to take part.*chr

Done! Nicely designed form by the way - I hope your daughter gets all the info she needs.

Thanks Ralph much appreciated.

I've just made my effort, it was rather fun and I hope it helps Charlotte. Wish her well with her studies. :)

Entertaining, although with a slightly embarrassing number of "don't know"s :)

Hope it helps ... John

Ooh-er. I only knew two. I'm obviously not up on what's trendy... :p

15th January 2016, 08:25 PM
Done mine.

I'm in the high proportion "don't know" group too.
Actually I'm quite pleased about that, it shows I have a low susceptibility to the advertising we are bombarded with which I think is good.:)

Pity you could not cut and paste don't know!

I'm with you all firmly in the don't know camp:o.
Thanks for all the replies so far. Your comments are great to add to her analysis too.
I'll post the answers in a day or two.

I seem to be in good company, seeing everybody else's don't knows.

15th January 2016, 08:56 PM
Done, I hope it helps.

I look forward to seeing how many I got wrong.

I think I knew a couple, but was only sure about one.

I thought that it was accepting any letter as a valid answer, it indicated a correct answer after typing in one letter, so I think it is a con.

I knew quite a few which I find rather worrying as I rarely watch television or read advertisements.

Brilliant guys what a great response. Charlotte is really pleased. Derek don't worry it's not that clever and won't tell you the response you can type anything in the box. It's definitely not a con, it's truly anonymous and just research background for her project.

Only one "Don't Know", but probably seven wrong. How do we find the answers?

I'll post them later this weekend when I find out myself.

Thanks Paul, I think you are in good company here. That's one more than I got.

16th January 2016, 09:06 AM
Haven't been around for a bit but this was a good starter for 10.

I'm afraid my answers were much like my politics, middle of the road... some I knew, *clap some I thought I knew = guessed, :o and then a few definite don't knows. *shrug

Hopefully got in under the wire. Strangely I'm feeling a bit peckish.

17th January 2016, 09:41 AM
Debs has done it too, lot's of don't knows :)

17th January 2016, 10:22 AM
Five for me, I am comfortable with the company names I entered.

One bit of feedback would be that the amount of editing varies significantly between logos which I feel puts some at a disadvantage - I am sure more people would ID more if the level of change was consistent.

Well Mrs T I knew about a quarter of that!

I'm not sure knowing them is necessarily good!

17th January 2016, 12:51 PM
It said I got them all correct although in some cases I had only entered the first letter. So I am deeply suspicious.

I am a bit of an icon driven person though

I think you are mistaking the fact that a "tick" appears once you start typing, not that you have got the answer "right", just try typing "#" or anything else unrelated. Oh, and try being a bit less paranoid too! ;)

Beagletorque is right the site doesn't have any knowledge functionality to know it the answers are correct or not. It's definitely not a con so no need to worry and it's all completely anonymous. Charlotte is analysing the results now so when I get on the pc later I'll post an image with all the logos so you can see what's missing. Basically she just took the words off each logo but you will see when I post them side by side. Thanks to everyone who to part, you've been brilliant.

17th January 2016, 06:34 PM
Count me in the don't know camp. I only got three.
