After last years major health scare, this year I must rationalize my collections before Debs gets stuck.

Things to sort :-

Photo Gear.

57 years of accumulated gear.

Music.

61 years of guitars, amplifiers and sundries.

Books.

65 years of collecting

Tools.

Too many to count.

Now I figure that will take me through January, what to do after that :D:D:D:D:D

I've got piles of clothes on chairs, because the cupboards are full of empty camera kit boxes. :o

So much junk in the garage, that will take a big skip to sort out...

I promised myself I wouldn't even think about such things this year. Now thanks to you, that's another NYR out the window. ;)

A word of warning:

Our neighbour died recently. His window plans to move out. The garage and huge loft space are full of the belongings of grown up children who have left home in recent years to start families.

That is also my problem, always been a collector, I have a shed, a garage, 2 x Greenhouses, a loft and the studio, all to be rationalized this year :(

Nothing really revolutionary here, didn't you mean resolutions? :D

Sorting gear is certainly something I need to be doing...

Oh and I wouldn't mind overthrowing some of the powers that be - except I have no delusions we'd end up with anything better.

It's worse than you think!

I've got no plans, no ambitions - except to somehow get through yet another year.

If that's easily sortable in January then you don't have a problem.....

From my experience, the ability to acquire, collect and store stuff appears to be proportional to the size of the house you live in. I wonder how Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth gets on?

Sorry to hear about the health scare. If you need help, I'm just across the border from Suffolk, so could pop up & take a car full of photo gear/tools/books of your hands :)

Rationalizing my own collections might be a good idea, but I'm not fool enough to kid myself I'll do it :(
