Having run a photo department twinned with an electron microscope department I spent some time putting a variety of specimens in the scanning electron microscope.

Having run a photo department twinned with an electron microscope department I spent some time putting a variety of specimens in the scanning electron microscope.

A wonderful instrument. However, the images are made with electron beams and not with light, so they are not, strictly, photographs.
