Ignore the title, that's just a hook :p

I can't help but wonder at the comments I read on Facebook and other such places.

We've just got Focus BKT and Focus Stk that provide for effectively a greater depth of field, especially useful in close and macro work.

Why would anyone moan about it not being implemented on the 7-14  The DoF on that lens is huge, and a bit of hyperfocal distance gets as much in focus as you could ever ask for...

It's perhaps a good thing that the latest batch of f/0.9 lenses are MF, as they would be moaning that the limited DoF is being defeated by the stacking. :D

It's the internet. Apparently, only unhappy people ever use the internet. :p

I'm very happy, I've effectively just got a new camera. :D

Just a reminder: DOF is a function of aperture and magnification, nothing else.

Stacking is about combining multiple planes of focus at wide aperture.

A book of faces - y'know, the funny sort that show a face upside down as well as the right way up.
