That is obviously very good news for the company, let's hope they have learnt from this sorry saga and can now put it behind them. *chr

I read this a few times to try and understand it. It seems that Olympus (the company) cannot commit a fraud of deceiving the auditors, which is why it has been dropped. Further, as Japan won't extradite it's citizens, there is no point in the UK charging Japanese individuals with fraud.
