Interesting find graham, it could mean low noise levels finer detail, and greater dynamic range with far less clipping. Lower chip temperature. Got some way to go with storage wells not to over flow to prevent diffraction if they can over come this diffraction would come in much later than in present sensors.

All very interesting for sure. Big question in my mind is how far it is from realisation.

Having been involved with "Fast Events" during my working years, I still keep an eye on what's developing and the latest tech..

There are certainly some interesting developments in the pipe, that will trickle down to consumer level kit. :cool:
