How many of you would like to see one of these (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-34173423) in the OMD E-M1 Mark II?

Time for some new hard drives!!

I would not like it at all.

The most pixels I could use would be 21.2M for a 13"x19" print at 300dpi.

In reality what I already have is perfectly adequate for even an A2 print.

I'm only interested in the IQ of the end product and the ease with which I can achieve that result.

Well, I'm sure we'll get a new sensor in the E-M1 mkii, but I doubt it'll be 250Mp! I personally hope it's still 16Mp but with more DR and less noise. Read any review of the Sony A7s and you'll see that it delivers astonishing IQ and very low noise with a mere 12Mp.

Canon said the sensor is sensitive enough to read lettering on the side of an aircraft 18km (11.1 miles) away.Assuming the lens in front of it has sufficient resolution (and the photographer could see the actual aircraft!) ... A considerable achievement perhaps, but practical uses for it are perhaps few and far between. I'm perfectly happy with the 16MP of my E-M5, manageable file sizes and quality I'd need roll film to match :).

Unless it improves in the resolution I don't really see the point, though after reading the review of the Sony, its amazing what they have got out of 12Mb. Quality before quantity please.
