Hope someone can help with this question.

I am using a Panasonic Lumix FZ200. I am frustrated with hand held shot in dim light as well as what seems like over saturation fuzzy looking photos on a bright sunny day.

The E-M10 has a larger sensor but can I expect a significantly better image quality over the FZ200?

Thanks

Yes! In simple terms any camera with a 24x Optical Zoom Lens, has to be designed with significant compromises, which will impact on image quality.

The Panasonic is a good camera and produces good results. However the E-M10 will produce better image quality, but with much less zoom range.

My EM10 has a zoom from 7.5mm (Samyan Fisheye.) to 800mm (Samyang 800mm mirror lens.), and a lot more in between! All I have to do is change the lens!
