I have just bought a EM10 ( my first Olympus camera) and would like to know if there is Adobe RAW support for this camera yet. I have Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4. Many thanks for your help.

It doesn't look like it, according to this (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html) page. I don't know if Olympus Viewer 3 supports it yet but if not the other option is to download DNG Converter and convert the raw files to DNG format.

I doubt the DNG converter will support it until it is also updated.

It looks as if you are right Paul. I suppose the best hope is that Olympus will update OV3 quickly, if they haven't already done so.

No matter what, when Adobe does catch up you'll find you will need to be on Lightroom 5 as Adobe no longer updates v4.

Thanks for the replies. Bit miffed about Lightroom 4 not being updated. I have a CD with OV3 on. I didn't bother loading it as I thought it was just a vehicle for uploading images onto the computer. I will give it a go and see what happens.

You do not have to update to LR5 as Stephen says.

When Lightroom 5 supports the E-M10 so will the DNG converter and you will be able to convet your E-M10 files to DNG so they will open in LR4.

That is the beauty of DNG you do not have to upgrade your Adobe software to the latest version to support the latest camera's.;)

Saying that LR5 is a big improvement over LR4 and well worth the upgrade in my humble opinion if yoiu can afford it.:)

Plus - Adobe tend to update the DNG converter fairly quickly, support for new cameras is often in there a while before it finds its way into LR/PS. Mind you, I find the workflow of converting to DNG first a real pain the seating quarters, I much prefer to work native in LR.

Thanks for that Paul. I am hoping that adobe RAW plugin for CS6 will be updated for E10 soon, I think that Adobe are continuing support for the non cloud based version for a while yet. If not I will buy the upgrade for Lightroom. It should happen at the same time for both.

The latest OV3 version is 1.21 (1.20 had some small problems & had to be corrected immediately) & if your CD doesn't have that then it will update. BTW, the camera needs to connected at least once to enable video play back & edit in OV3, after that just reading the card is sufficient.

I have just installed the Beta version 8.4 Camera RAW plugin for CS6 and it works fine with RAW files from the E-M10. Pleased about that as I didn't like OV3 very much. The effects were ok but very slow to take effect.
