Just added these to my gallery of E-M10/25mm f/1.8 and 14-42 EZ pancake zoom product shots on Four Thirds User (http://fourthirds-user.com/2014/01/olympus_omd_em10_handson_preview_and_image_samples .php#thumbnails):

Lens cap in the process of closing! (as lens retracts)

Pretty neat! :)

Pity they can't use the same concept for a lens hood!

Sorry I didn't show you this last night when I dropped by, Stephen - I know you're interested in the pancake zoom - I only discovered it when I was packing up the bits for the chap from Olympus to collect this morning and then rushed off some shots :) It's not standard.

There is also a new MCON-P02 macro conversion lens - not sure which lenses it's designed for.

I have an automatic cap on my XZ-1 (LC-63A) and I love it. The first time I turned the XZ-1 on, it threw its cap to the ground so I decided on the automatic cap.

But this one is much nicer and I am sure I will buy the new lens and optional cap in due course.

One question: with the standard cap, what happens when you turn the camera on? Does the cap move with the extending lens, or does it get thrown out?

The standard cap is much smaller than the lens barrel and simply stays on :)
