Camera bag all packed for this evenings event with North Wiltshire Orchestra in my role as their official photographer.


2 x EM1's
35 - 100
12 - 40
60 mm macro
45 mm
100 - 300 - just in case I want to isolate a player
7.5mm fish eye to show everyone!
FL600R flash, for any break time shots in the corner of the Church

All comfortably in my shoulder bag - Nice!

Then this evening re pack the bag for my week at Lakeland Photographic Holidays tomorrow!


Missed not going last year, John & Gail are selling up in a couple of years, so want to make the most of it.

Camera's are going to be taking a hammering!

Sounds like a wonderful occasion & all those lenses should cover it. On reading the orchestras facebook page with this entry, "Pianist Maria João Pires panics as she realises the orchestra has started the wrong concerto…", I remember it being discussed on our ABC Classic (FM & DAB) radio station & now I can relate to this orchestra for this amazing moment where she was still able to perform the correct concerto (from memory) starting perfectly at the piano entry in the concerto. It's interesting that there weren't at least one rehearsal (even top & tailing) with pianist & orchestra before this concert.
