Yes, Dave, she is "Devil Kid." I just had to post this one but I'm sure she'll post more under her own name later. :)

She was after my E-3, but has sensibly decided that her own E-510 suits her better. Still uses my 40-150mm or 70-300mm though. I never cease to be amazed at the quality of JPEG produced by the E-510 in good light and at low ISO. It makes a great pairing with the 40-150mm MkI which is far, far better than it has any right to be considering its cost. :)

No fence, Ulfric, we were in the enclosure with a keeper (part of the Road Train excursion) and at times the Lemurs were running around our feet! :D

I'm extra grumpy at the moment John having spent a week looking for an E-1 in Ontario as part of my going retro phase.

Plus I'm stuck indoors on a long weekend having ripped a big chunk of skin off the back of my heel.

Huh... As soon as I catch enough fish to afford one camera, a bigger and better one comes along!!

That's a cracking lemur shot from Freya John. She's got good taste in cameras too. Unfortunately I've had to resort to sellotape to keep mine going.
Love the Heron David and the Puffin too Chris.

Never mind, I bet your wife is pleased to have you at home and in a good mood! :D

Seriously, I hope that foot recovers soon - what rotten luck.

OMG Its King Julian.:D:D:D

If you like lemurs I would recommend the Cotswold life park. Took our 3 year old grandson there this year. They have an enclosure where you mix it with the best. I am sure Freya would need a water cooled shutter.
They even put on a dance

Then you can meet the family

All these taken with no fences between us and the lemurs

It's a North American Great Blue Heron, closely related to the European Grey Heron. Some of their behavior is very similar.

The first picture is of a Yorkshireman uttering that well-known phrase "How much?".
