What I found most interesting was that for all the lenses they scored better on the OM-D than on the GH3 - even the new Panny zooms that presumably were optimised on their own systems!

Doesn't surprise me. The E-M5 has the better sensor.

The DXO analysis does in fact compare both primes and zoom m4/3 lenses using OMD-v-GH3. The GH-3 I believe actually uses the same Sony sensor as the OMD. So the difference can only be in the processor, not the sensor?

I also think that Olympus's IBIS and sensor cleaning systems are far superior to in-lens stabilisation or the new GX7's 2 axis sensor stabilisation.

My own subjective tests on some of the Panny and Oly lenses on the OMD also tend to confirm the DXO lab results but obviously on a user basis. I can only determine which lens is better for my own specific use, ie the 100-300 Panasonic is faster, quicker to focus and sharper than the Oly mZuiko 75-300 and these results totally confirm that.
