This year my camera club's exhibition is on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June. I think the hours are from 10-5 on Saturday and 2-5 on DSunday but I need to check.

I am panicking because I haven't got my photos ready. We also have an exhibition in the Maeldun Centre in July.

Photos are staged and the exhibition looks good with varied photos on lots of different subjects.

Open 2-5 today.

We had 16 visitors yesterday. I hope today is better and I hope our exhibition at the Maeldun Centre is better. It should be. The URC in Gt Totham is a bit tucked away.

Well, it was a bit disappointing, I have to say. I can understand people not wanting to buy things but it would have been nice to have the local public come and admire our work.

Linda, I am not going to these exhibitions because I do not want to spend any money - sometimes I go and leave most cash and all cards at home :D then if I really want to buy something, I have to beg Nicks credit card of him :(

I am afraid, this year is going to be real down on footfall and takings at many local and national events !

I don't really expect people to buy stuff, except perhaps some cards etc, but just people looking would have been nice. There's too much else on at this time of year and the venue is a bit tucked away.

Good photos, poor turnout. I didn't even sell a card this year. I don't know how the Maldon exhibitiion is going because I've been away.

Blimey ! did you sell any books ?

I haven't yet put my books into print, so no, I didn't. CreareSpace books are next on the agenda, but I haven't sorted that yet. I've been silly-busy recently.

I hope I don't sound snippy - I'm exhaused what with one thing and another.

Although I didn't sell any of my main photos, apparently I sold some photos from my portfolio well as some cards and a post card, but I'd priced them at a silly price because I was so depressed about the whole thing, so I didn't make much on them, if anything, by the time I take into account the materials.

However, someone actually liked some of my photos enough to pay good money for them. That makes me feel good.
