OK, although I've had the camera since early days with a pre-order, I've always just left the Fn2 assigned to Multi-Function but never used it as I always just used other means to do things.

Yesterday I actually used it, pressed to enter the aspect ratio, faffed around, but now can't find any way of getting back out of aspect ratio to select anything else from the Fn2 button..... pulling my hair out now, so all suggestions welcome.

I'm a tit, I know....

Hi Derek. Press and HOLD fn2 while turning the dial (can't remember which after a bottle of Aussie Shiraz). That should cycle you through the options.

Hi Stephen....

Have tried all that but will go back and try again just now. I'm sure I tried a combination of press/twirl absolutely everything...... apart from that one probably!! Will let you know.....

I don't believe it! The spammer's contributed so much to this forum.

P.S. I'm watching One Foot in the Grave on DVD to explain the start of this post.

Blatant spamming.

I believe his post should be deleted from this thread as it has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject (other than the camera model discussed).

You been drinking our 'rough' red again. ;)

I can't say I use the Fn2 much either & it's set for the default 'multifunction'. I think I will leave it on WB (within the multifunction selection) instead & set my B-Fn2 (HLD-6 grip) button to something else. Magnification I normally do from the touch screen too instead of from the 'multifunction' on Fn2, so that leaves it free for WB as the first option.

Enough of my ramblings, but it is good how the E-M5 can be tailored differently to suit each of us.

I have my Fn2 permanently on the zoom focus function from the multifunction assignment. I don't often actually zoom in but a quick press sets a small focus box which is the best we get for spot focus.

That's where the touch screen is also useful for focus only operation. The focus point can be selected anywhere (within the AF area & also be moved by the 4 way arrow keys if then using the EVF) & the size can be adjusted by the touch slider on the right as well as the magnification activated in the lower right corner. It's great how customisable it is. *yes
