Microsoft has released final versions of its HD Photo plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS3.

HD Photo supports high dynamic range wide gamut color (HDR/WG) image content using the scRGB color profile.

Early days for this but is there everybody on the forums who understands this enough to summarize if today's raw format could ever support the scRGB colour space?

I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on to study this new offering from MS. It will be interesting to see if the colour space is wider than Adobe RGB and if it will actually take off.
