I am using the OM-D with 75-300mm lens together with a wireless remote to photograph birds on the bird feeder(Camera outside and me inside house.
I started using Single target AF but because the birds were constantly moving this did not appear to work.
Is there any way to permanently set Group Target AF(9 squares) so as to widen the focus area.
Or any other method suggestions would be appreciated

Just select it using the SCP (super control panel) and it should stay on that till you change it.

Many thanks, will that now widen my focus area from one to nine squares?

The autofocus will be the closest point within the bounds of the green boxes.
