Hey Pete - a very worthy winner indeed, great shot that one. Well done to the runners up too, what an excellent challenge. I would like to thank Ellie for choosing such a super theme for challenge #7.

I am looking forward to challenge #8 and hope to get the time to enter this one.

Wow, that's the first photo-anything I have won!!

As soon as I saw the title I had these props in mind:) It was a ten minute shoot with one of those flu-tube inspection lamps up close as the main illumination. I cleaned the shiny stuff and spent most of the time tweaking the position to get the right composition and reflections in the chrome. Finally, convert to B+W partly because it suited the subject, partly because flu-tube lighting does no-one any favours!

OK, there will be a very short pause while I pick a subject and quiz Ellie how one organises one of these :-)

Thanks folks

Pete

Well done Pete!

I find it interesting to see people's interpretation of subject matter - I might have entered if I'd had any imagination :D:D!
