Anyone got a Battery Grip etc. for an E520.

I've followed the web-search links to 3 or 4 suppliers - they all draw a blank.

HELP......

I don't believe Olympus ever made a battery grip for the E-520. There is/was one made by third party supplier Ownuser so you might find one on E-bay.

Peter is correct, there isn't an OEM battery grip for the E-5x0 bodies, only an after-market version from Ownuser (http://www.ownuser.com.tw/main/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_new.tpl&product_id=98&category_id=70&option=com_virtuemart&lang=en).

Can you post the contact details or website details for the grip - I've been looking for ages!

Yes, you have to contact their head office - I e-mailed them with my plea and got a prompt reply - from their MD !!!

Thats where I have tried in the past, it's always said out of stock, as it is again at the moment. It is also showing it at $159US, which is a bit more than you paid!

Cheers anyway, i'll just have to keep looking and hoping!

Thanks for the heads up:), I have the ownuser grip for my e500, and think it's great for improving the balance of the camera with bigger lenses, but I have always been fooled by the out of stock on their website for the e510/520 one.

Cheers,

Ralph.
