Otters are renowned for their elusive and very fast movements.
OM-D with Pana 100-300 using IBIS and at 300mm handheld.

Very nice work Dave

"You must have a Great Camera" ;)

The EM-5 really does suit hand-held work doesn't it the detail here is excellent (good fieldcraft to get into a position to get these shots too, assuming they are shot in the wild)

Excellent pictures. Remarkable that it is possible to get such sharp images handheld at 300mm (=600mm in 35mm terms). A credit to the skill of the photographer. It also illustrates how good the IBIS system is.

Great shots of a pretty fast and furious animal. I love the frog in the other shots on the linked forum too.

Dave can you view in your gallery large and post them large here please ?

I have now posted one of these image and a new Otter one on my gallery together with two Smew images.

Quite frankly I have always had difficulty posting images here from the gallery, especially if there are a number of them due to the lack of right mouse click "copy and paste" of the BB codes from the gallery!

Whenever I try to write them down and then put them into my post, I always never quite get it right and have to start over again! If anyone knows of a quicker, less archaic method I am willing to learn! I know why it is done this way and I am grateful not to have my images stolen.

I therefore resort to hosting my images elsewhere and use their codes to copy and paste into a post here, but it does limit the images that I post here regrettably.
