A problem I've noticed when trying to use the E-M5 with grip attached is that the tripod screw bush is not deep enough to accommodate the screw of two of the Arca plates I have. The camera body bush is deep enough. Has anybody else noticed this problem and if so have so have you found a solution (apart from grinding down the screw).

Another unintended consequence of miniaturisation?

Thanks

David

Hi David. Is this the type of base plate that you are having trouble with.
I find I have to slightly unscrew to allow screw to become flush to the plate and that works for me.

No, that is a Manfrotto plate. Problem solved, I have now found that a plate made by Beike fits perfectly as the screw protrudes less.
