This is a crop of an image that was shot in Daylight. Suggestions and comments welcome

It's a nice image but I would like to see the black background extended on the right. It's just to tight a crop IMHO.

I like this, good enough for an advert/poster for example?

I think this shot is fantastic :D Classy looking

I agree on the crop comments though. I do love the contrast, I really really like this type of work, unfortunatly its beyond me at the moment.

Cheers

Thank you all for your feedback, Here is an amended version with more space on the RHS.

I think that makes all the difference, far better. The change to the crop turns a good shot into a great shot.

I think it looks better with the ahem breathing space.

I too prefer the amended version, but don't feel qualified to comment as this type of work is way out of my league!

Being a bit picky for what is a very good photograph, what about even more so that the image is mirrored by the space on the right. The assymetry doesn't seem to work for me.

Wouldn't that give us the old, is this a lady or is it a vase, conumdrum?

Might be worth trying though.

The first is by far the better crop. It is very much in the style of the banner that would be seen hanging outside an exhibition.

I think it is a Brilliant Composition *yes

I'm with Graham on this.

Agree with 'ianc' 1st comment. The neg space makes the shot, nicely done ;-)
