View Full Version : A Glimpse of Wales

This is one of these edge of the woods moments. I spent some time trying to get the framing and contrast right. Any views?

Nice framing, good view, much better that the one I'm currently looking out at that's for sure.

It seems to give the picture some depth, as if you want 'go through' to the other side (wish I could!)

To me it symbolizes "Out of the darkness, into the light." Nicely done, but maybe a touch of fill flash might have been worth trying to preserve a little more detail in the dark foreground. Then again, it might have spoilt the atmosphere of this scene, what do you think?

At the scene, I was taken by the leaf/sky contrast and tried to keep that blue/black thing going in the image.

However I can imagine a touch of fill flash would have added a little something. To be honest, I tend to forget the E400 has a flash on board. I have to admit I never use it :-(
