I'll be chancing the weather this evening for a landscape / sunset shoot near Baslow in the Peak District - I'll be looking for the Baslow Monuments on the gritstone edge to the north of this meeting spot :

This Saturday, all the way up in Durham, Tom and Marie will be out shooting the historic Durham Miner's Gala... a brilliant chance to explore this wonderful city.

This Saturday and Sunday, we'll be joining Nick Webster for a shoot of the Motorbike Racing at Cadwell Park...

And on Sunday, there's a not-to-be-missed event organised by Tim Lees, Thames Life and Landmarks... should be some spectacular photography here too!

And that's just in the next few days! We're planning events to cover the rest of the UK and the first International events will soon be posted... this is so exciting, there's never been a better time to get involved with the Safari Group - just register on the map, or drop me a line for a personal invite.

One of the biggest barriers to new users enjoying their Olympus DSLR is lack of knowledge and lack of inspiration... our Group will quickly provide both on a local level, with a sense of community, recognition through our ongoing reports and projects, and a fantastic way to safely explore new photographic subjects with other experienced photographers.

I hope that you will refer our events map to any other groups and forums you frequent.

Kind Regards

Brian
